Deals of the Week

This week we're going to have a look at the Kia Picanto, BMW 3 Series Plug in Hybrid and Volkswagen T-Cross.

Deals of the Week

It may be the smallest car that Kia produces (by quite some distance!), but the Picanto is without doubt a little gem within their range, with its many little perks and its exceptionally good-value price. As most people who have driven one will tell you, it is a good, reliable little car that will also stand the test of times, as is shown by Kia’s extensive warranty.

The Picanto is available in plenty of different versions, allowing you to spruce it up with all the additional features that you need:

  • Picanto 1: The base trim comes with all of the essential features and very good value for money. It comes with all the things that you would expect to come as standard, i.e. 14” steel wheels, front electric windows, remote door locking, and hill-start assist.
  • Picanto 2: Stepping up to the 2 gets you 14” alloy wheels, as well as air conditioning, a leather steering wheel and a 4-speaker audio system.
  • Picanto 3: As you can probably guess, next up is the 3. With this you now get 15” alloy wheels, a 7” touchscreen satnav, reversing camera and 6-speaker audio system.

Moving away from the numeric naming system, we now have a few more trims that are standalone and don’t necessarily increase in quality nor the addition of features every time:

  • Titanium: The Titanium Edition has an obvious dark look & style and is the only trim to come with premium paint as standard. It has 15” alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, black faux leather upholstery, heated steering wheel, front electric windows
  • GT-Line & GT-Line S: The two GT-Line trims are the sporty versions of the Picanto. Both come with 16” GT-Line alloy wheels, sports front & rear bumpers, black & red faux leather upholstery and a 7” touchscreen. Furthermore, with the GT-Line S, you also get a satnav with the touchscreen, automatic air conditioning and a wireless mobile phone charger.
  • X-Line & X-Line S: The X-Line versions are quite unique with a very different and more ‘beefed-up’ look than the rest. In terms of features, the X-Line & X-Line S and GT-Line & GT-Line S are more or less identical, respectively. The only major differences are design changes, for example the front & rear bumpers are very different, and the X-Lines come with grey faux leather upholstery (as a pose to black & red).

Here at Vantage, we have an incredible deal at the moment as we can offer the Picanto 1 on lease for just £100 per month. This specific car runs with a fuel economy of around 59.5mpg and it is in insurance group 12, so in addition to this amazing low rental, it also has exceptionally low running costs, lower than the vast majority of cars out there.

In fact, we have recent discounts on all petrol versions of the Picanto on our website, including the Picanto 2 for just £103 per month.

BMW 330e Saloon PHEV M Sport Auto 2.0 Plug in Hybrid Petrol

Deals of the Week

It has been slowly gaining momentum for many years, but the incoming tidal wave of electric and hybrid cars onto our roads is now in full force and it seems only a matter of time before they make up the majority of vehicles out there. If you’re soon planning to jump onto the electric bandwagon, then there are few better manufacturers to do so with than the ever-reliable BMW. Its 3 Series Saloon has a long-standing reputation for its excellent performance and flawless driving experience, however the early reports suggest that it’s plug in hybrid version may even better that.

The 3 Series comes in three different trims, moving upwards in quality each time:

  • SE: Despite being the base trim, the SE still comes with plenty of features for your liking. You get 17” alloy wheels, park assist with reversing camera, a leather sports steering wheel and BMW Live Cockpit Plus (including an 8.8” central display).
  • Sport: Moving upwards, you then have the Sport. This trim gives you 18” alloy V-spoke wheels, leather seats (which are sporty and heated in the front) and a glossy black exterior trim.
  • M Sport: And finally, we have the top spec, the M Sport. Here you get the upgrades of 18” alloy double-spoke wheels, BMW Live Cockpit Professional (including a 12.3” central display) and an aluminium tetragon interior trim.

The model in question here is the 330e M Sport Auto 2.0. This car, as you would expect with a BMW, is exceptional to drive, coming with a 0-62 of 6.00s and a top speed of 142Mph. Furthermore, being a plug-in hybrid, you get plenty more miles per gallon and you should expect to get around 176.6mpg.

Check out our website to see the offers we have available on the other 3 Series. In particular, if you’re not keen on the electric, we can also offer the 330i Saloon M Sport Auto 2.0 and 330d Saloon M Sport Auto 3.0 for £325.65 and £362.08 per month, respectively, for 48 months with 9 months up front.

Volkswagen T-Cross 5 Door SUV TSI 115 R-Line 1.0 Petrol

Deals of the Week

The Volkswagen T-Cross is a strong fixture within the ever-crowded smaller SUV market. Its bold and quite indifferent design allows it to stand out from the crowd, and it can also more than compete in terms of overall performance and comfort. It also sits comfortably lower in price than the similarly sized Volkswagen T-Roc, whilst offering much of the same as the aforesaid.

You can get the T-Cross in four different trims, moving upwards in quality each time:

  • S: The trim at the bottom of the spectrum is the S, and with this you get 16” alloy wheels, cloth upholstery, VW Connect, 8” touchscreen, blind spot detection and also a radar-controlled distance monitoring system.
  • SE: The first step up is to the SE, in which you are upgraded to 17” alloy wheels. As well as this, you also get lumbar support in the front seats, App-Connect and an anti-theft alarm.
  • SEL: Upgrading further to the SEL also gets you several additional perks, including front & rear parking sensors, rear tinted glass, silver roof rails and Volkswagen Media Control.
  • R-Line: The top spec then gives the R-Line a sporty revamp. For example, you then get 18” alloy wheels, sports seats in the front, the R-Line styling pack and a 10.25” high resolution dash display.

The deal you’ll find below is for the petrol, manual version of the top spec, the R-Line. This car comes with a fuel consumption of around 53mpg and it is in insurance group 13.

We have discounted pricing on all petrol versions of the T-Cross on our website, so be sure to give that a look as well!
