The Astounding BMW X4
The newly designed BMW X4 adopts a wide stance on the road, offers advanced handling and is packed with plenty of attitude. A Sports Activity Coupé (SAC) doesn't get much better than this, boasting a super fast 0-62 mph speed of just 4.9 seconds on the BMW X4 M40i and M40d models.
A New Way of Driving
With a low centre of gravity and perfectly balanced weight distribution the BMW X4 offers great handling, superb stability and serious style. Performance Control and variable Sports Steering provides effortless manoeuvring while M Sport Suspension as standard enhances the driving experience with tailor made agility. The BMW X4 has been stunningly designed from every angle with every little detail considered such as sleek doors embossed with the BMW X logo. Confident wheel arches highlight the off-road nature of the BMW X4 while 3D rear lights create the instantly recognisable shape of the X4, complemented by impressive twin exhaust pipes on either side of the imposing rear apron. Inside the BMW X4 front Sport seats offer lateral support while a luxury instrument panel is accompanied by a large panoramic glass roof that makes the BMW X4 feel somehow even more spacious (available as standard on the M Sport X model). Many features help to make everyday driving easier from BMW's Driving Assistant Plus that includes lane keeping assist and collision warning to BMW Live Cockpit Professional with an impressive 12.3 inch instrument cluster and 10.25 inch high resolution touch screen finished off with an optional BMW Head-Up Display. For boot space there is 500 litres of space which increases to 1,400 litres when the 40:20:40 split rear seats are folded.
Luxury SAC Specifications
The BMW X4 is available in three model lines: Sport, M Sport model and M Sport X Model with the addition of the sporty BMW X4 M409 and M40d.
Sport: As standard the BMW X4 sport model comes with 18-inch light v-spoke alloy wheels, reverse camera assist, adaptive LED headlights, satin aluminium exterior trim with vernasca leather upholstery and BMW Live Cockpit Plus.
M Sport: In addition to the Sport the BMW X4 M Sport includes 19-inch M light double-spoke alloy wheels with high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim, iconic BMW M aerodynamic bodystyling and LED front fog lights.
M Sport X: The M Sport X Model has impressive 19-inch M light double-spoke alloy wheels, stunning panoramic glass sunroof, M Sport X Frozen Grey contrast design elements and BMW Icon Adaptive LED headlights with High-Beam assist.
BMW X4 M409 and M40d: For extreme performance the BMW X4 M40i and M40d comes with exclusive trapezoidal tailpipes in black chrome and M badges on the front wings with TwinPower 6-cylinder engines with optional Adaptive M suspension.
Drive With Attitude
The BMW X4 is available in 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder petrol and diesel engine options, all with automatic gearbox. For performance that provides great efficiency the 4-cylinder 2.0 litre xDrive 20d diesel provides up to 52 mph with 190 hp and a 0-62mph speed of 8 seconds. For motorway driving the 3.0 litre diesel offers 265 hp and a 0-62 mph speed of 5.8 seconds. If you are after a petrol then there is only one BMW X4 petrol model: the M40i that can crack 0-62 mph in just 4.9 seconds! What's it like when driving? Stiff M Sport suspension keeps the BMW X4 upright and balanced when driving on any terrain. The all-wheel-drive system also makes the X model very fun to drive. You can choose your driving mode from Eco Pro to Comfort and Sport driving modes while adaptive suspension will soften every ride thanks to the swift touch of a button!
