Due Q3 2018
The baby Audi is growing and being reinvented to be more inline with it’s more luxurious siblings. It’s being given a whole new look with a wider grille, and distinctive vents on the bonnet. In addition to the facelift it’s been given a whole new suspension system with options dampening control and a whole host of new engines and transmissions.

The Q3 is being gifted a brand-new interior with more modern, current features and styling which will bring it in line with a spec we are most familiar with in the Q5. There isn’t all the much change to the shape as its remaining largely the same but it’s being given an entirely revised front end in a more aggressive fashion with the new angled LED headlights from the Q5 and a much larger grille.

The new Audi Q8 is Audi’s answer to the X6. This model was showcased with the hybrid E-Tron engine. This is a 3.0 petrol goliath paired with a 17.9kWh battery which Audi claim will produce 438BHP with a whopping 700Nm of torque. This car has been designed to have an imposing road presence, and that it certainly does.

The changes to the 3 Series aren’t huge but there have been some mild adjustments. I think the most significant of these is the new entertainment system which is called iDrive 6.0 and is now included in the basic spec across all the BMW range. This system replaces the normal BMW rotary dial with touch screen integration bringing the range into 2018 and leaving fiddly manual controls behind.

Jumping on the hype of the SUV has meant that not even the humble Polo has been left unscathed by the swelling popularity of a higher ride. I think the Polo SUV will be called the T Cross and start with a 1.0 three-cylinder turbo petrol engine in a variety of manual and automatic options and aim to take back some of the market share from VW’s competitors.

The Touareg is likely to be revitalized with a PHEV model and 4-wheel drive to be introduced across the range. The figures for the PHEV model are impressive at 381 BHP and 700nM of torque. Combine with that 94MPG and 50 miles of all electric driving and it’s starting to sound like a perfect all-rounder.
Due Q4 2018
The BMW X8. This is BMW’s answer to the GLS, it’s large, luxurious, and huge. It’s bound to come with a host of high powered engines and probably a plug-in hybrid version to follow. This is to be the largest car that BMW have ever built.
Due Q4 2018
Citroen has been banging on about it’s new comfort suspension system with ‘progressive hydraulic cushions’ for ages now, the C5 aircross is to be the first production model to be graced with it. Not to mention this will also be the first hybrid model Citroen have ever made AND the most powerful car they’ve ever built to boot.
Due Q4 2018
Volvo is going after the C Class and 3 Series with the new S60. This is to be a mid-range of executive saloon and estates. It’s following the design pattern laid out be the new XC60 and will come in a range of 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines and likely to be joined by the T8 plug-in option which the Xc90 already enjoys. AWD and automatic is likely to be an option, which works well for Volvos green reputation.
