The Renault Trafic Passenger has recently received an updated exterior design with a new vertical grille, horizontal bonnet design and new bumpers with full LED headlights. Other newly refined design details include elegant wheel trims and Renault's signature c-shape light style. Step inside where practicality and comfort have been balanced. There is a new eye-catching dashboard that provides a wrap-around look and spacious feel to the cabin. When it comes to storage there are a number of handy storage spaces that equal 84 litres from the glovebox to cubby holes and a large boot that can hold up to 1,800 litres of cargo. Onboard there is a new 8-inch easy link display that connects your smartphone and provides satellite navigation. There are also a number of Renault driver assistance systems on hand to keep all passengers safe from adaptive cruise control, an active emergency braking system and blind sport warning. Across model lines you have a choice of short wheel and long wheelbase: The wheelbase lengths are 122" for the Short-Wheel-Base (SWB) and 137.7" for the Long-Wheel-Base (LWB)

Renault Trafic Models

There are four Renault Trafic models to choose from, depending on whether you are using it for business or family: Business SWB 9 seat, Business LWB 9 seat, Sport SWB 9 seat and the Sport LWB 9 seat.

Business SWB 9 seat & the Business LWB 9 seat: These two models have the same equipment but are in a SWB or LWB. Equipment includes a 3.5 TFT information display, DAB radio, cruise control with speed limiter, three 2nd row seats, passenger bench with under-seat storage, three third-row seats, KOMPO upholstery, 16-inch steel wheels, tinted glass, heated rear window, side loading door, left side loading door and rear quarter panels on a short wheelbase. 

Sport SWB 9 seat & Sport LWB 9 seat: Featuring two different wheelbase lengths the Sport Renault Trafic Passenger includes upgrades to automatic windscreen wipers and headlights, a premium dashboard with horizontal grain and chrome styling, premium faux leather steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror (optional), rear parking sensors, driver attention alert, 17-inch alloy wheels, extra tinted windows, electric folding door windows, right and left side-loading door with integral opening window, body-coloured front bumper with chrome grille, a 4.2 inch TFT colour driver information display and JAVA upholstery.

The new Renault Trafic has been kitted out with more efficient engines for both business, personal and family use. Powering 9 passengers the Renault Trafic is available in three 2.0 litre diesel engine options including Renault’s new dCi 150 engine that joins the existing refined engine family: the frugal dCi 110 and the powerful dCi 170. All Trafic engines come with smart Stop & Start technology, which fits the Renault Passenger into the latest Euro 6D-fuel emission regulations. A six-speed manual gearbox comes as standard on dCi 110 and 150 models, while there is a six-speed EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission on the dCi 170 and dCi 150. On the road, the Renault Trafic has a surprising amount of finesse with precise steering and a comfortable, quiet drive.
