Audi Q3 Leasing
Audi's Mini SUV; This is the Audi Q3
The Audi Q3 set something of a trend when it originally launched in 2011, outlining a distinguishable class of its own. Now underpinned by the Q2, this slightly-older and fast-maturing sibling serves much bolder styling than in previous years. Taking inspiration from the Q8 further along the family tree, the Q3 has grown in size inside and out, its wheelbase matching that of the Jaguar E-Pace.
Small, But Spacious Design
Upfront, the new Q3 delivers more angular dimensions than its predecessor, enhanced by cutting LED light details and sharper front intakes. The body’s overall form is neatly folded and crimped with a swimming aerodynamic appeal, whilst the interior leans toward scaled back minimalism and zen-like calm. Gone are the dials on the dash, having been set aside for a Virtual Cockpit TFT screen sinking smoothly into the surface and leaving space for the vents up top. The Q3 is made for the modern family, with multiple kids’ worth of space in the rear and a wifi hotspot and power outlets to keep occupants entertained.
Audi's Typical Trim Levels
Covering three standout specification levels, the Q3 offers variants to suit a range of drivers. The collection includes the Sport, S-Line, and Q3 Vorsprung.
Sport: the introductory Sport trim comes with 18” alloy wheels, sport-style seats in cloth upholstery and LED lights in the front and rear. The interior is fitted out with Audi’s latest MMI infotainment system, with two 10-inch displays, sat-nav, and smartphone connectivity. Additional features include dual-zone climate control, parking sensors in the rear, cruise control and a range of safety features.
S-Line: the next level up, the S-Line is kitted out with larger 19” alloy wheels, sharper styling on the bumpers, and a lowered sports suspension than the standard model. The rear windows are tinted, and sport seats are leather-trimmed. The interior detailing is finished with brushed aluminium and stainless steel elements. Additional safety features are included.
Vorsprung: the mightiest of the bunch is the Vorsprung, which is fitted with 20” alloy wheels as standard, plus ultra-sharp Matrix LED headlights and a panoramic glass roof. Black detailing is added across the bumpers, roof rails and mirror caps. Inside the Vorsprung, the Alcantara seats are heated and electrically adjustable to suit the driver. Further personalisation comes with the 30-colour mood lighting system, and a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Pokey, Economical Performance
The Q3’s drive is surprisingly grounded for a car of its stature, hugging the road snugly as it pushes through corners - lean is especially well-controlled when the car is fitted with the optional adaptive dampers. All levels of the Q3 are fitted with progressive steering, which gets faster the more the wheel is turned. Road noise is minimal, and the car shifts gears with notable grace.
