Audi's Typical Specification Levels

The Audi Q2 comes in five standard specification levels, ranging from the baseline SE through Sport, S Line, Black Edition, and SQ2.

SE: Fitted with highlights including 16” alloy wheels, a DAB radio and air conditioning. The 7” infotainment doesn’t include sat-nav, but can be synced with smartphones via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.

Sport: Adding to the SE’s standard kit, the Sport brings an extra inch on the alloys - that’s 17” all told - plus sat-nav, automatic lights and wipers, and a cruise control system. The outer appearance is a little sportier thanks to the contrasting colour on the rear pillars.

S Line: The next step up offers a further inch of alloy, up to 18”, plus a more aggressive bumper styling. Inside, the mood is set with an LED ambient lighting pack, and part-leather sports seat provide a snug hold.

Black Edition: This higher-spec sibling comes with bigger 19” gloss black wheels with diamond-cut finish; privacy glass, C-pillars in brilliant black, and a black styling back both inside and out.

SQ2: The sportstar amongst the pack is dropped in height by 20mm from the standard Q2, and delivers stats including 300bhp and 0-62mph in 4.8 seconds.

Economical Performance and Sharp Handling

Whilst the Q2 certainly looks the part clambering around the countryside, it is particularly suited to the city driver. Options include adaptive dampers to soften the ride. Standard kit includes progressive steering across the board, which increases the ratio the more the wheel is turned and gives more agility when weaving through traffic.

The Q2’s platform is shared with the Audi A3, which is known for its good ride. This translates well even with the Q3’s pumped-up proportions. The car grips tightly when cornering, and the four-wheel drive version gives plenty of traction.
