A Peugeot 2008 Model For Everyone
The Peugeot 308 Hatchback is available in six model lines: Active Premium, Allure, Allure Premium, GT, GT Premium, and GTi.
Active Premium: Equipped with rear parking sensors, heated rear windscreen Peugeot i-Cockpit, comfort front seats DAB radio with Bluetooth functionality, 16-inch Quartz alloy wheels, chrome radiator edge trim, and a black grille with LED daytime running lights.
Allure: In addition, the Allure 308 includes a distance alert system, electric parking brake, parking sensors to the front and rear, leather effect and cloth interior upholstery with sports style front seats, 16-inch Zircon alloy wheels, and 3D navigation.
Allure Premium: The Allure Premium has the additions of Peugeot's drive assist pack with adaptive cruise control and Peugeot open and go keyless entry and push start button.
GT: The GT gets some sporty upgrades including aluminium style pedals and door sills, mistral full-grain perforated leather steering wheel with red contrast stitching, GT badging to the front wings and tailgate, chequered radiator grille, sports bumper, twin exhaust pipe effect, and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
GT Premium: In addition to the GT the 308 GT Premium includes active blind-spot monitoring, park assist, 18-inch alloy wheels, and Alcantara leather upholstery.
GTi: Top spec the GTi features GTi emblems to the front wings and tailgate, large twin exhaust with a black rear diffuser, gloss black radiator grille, sports front bumper design, red-painted calipers, and 19-inch Carbone two-tone finish diamond cut alloy wheels. GTi bucket seats in Alcantara leather with a perforated leather steering wheel, GTi bucket lumbar seats with massage function.
Fun To Drive
There are a number of petrol and diesel engine options available in the Peugeot 308 hatchback range. Peugeot has come out with a clever PureTech engine to replace their 1.0 litre EcoBoost engines. Instead, PureTech engines give 1.2 litre petrol the performance of a 1.6 litre unit but are cheaper to run! Versions available have an 82hp, 110hp and 130hp output and offer 55-61mpg. The GT models get a boost with a 1.6 litre engine that speeds performance to 0-62mph in 7.5 seconds while if you're a motorway driver all diesel engines from 1.6 to 2.o litres offer a fuel economy of around 65mpg. Whichever model you choose the Peugeot 308 hatchback delights the driving senses with an impressive range or sporty models to choose from this hatchback is seriously fun to drive.
