Porsche Cayman; A Sporty Coupe

Surprisingly Spacious

Sitting low to the ground with a wide and sleek exterior the Porsche Cayman includes stand out large wheel arches that can accommodate 20-inch alloys, while large air intakes to either side of the car provide an optimum air supply to the turbocharged engines to create a powerful thrust. The rear of the 718 Cayman also highlights it's sporty stance with slimline tail lights and an accent trim that accentuates the width of this delightful Porsche. Inside the Porsche Cayman doesn't disappoint with a striking dashboard design and ascending centre console with 7-inch touchscreen display, complemented by a sport steering wheel and a cluster of three round instruments displayed on a 4.6-inch colour screen. Porsche Cayman Models

There are two streamlined models available in the Porsche Cayman range: 718 Cayman and the 718 Cayman S

718 Cayman: As standard the Porsche Cayman comes with a 2.0 litre turbocharged boxer engine providing 380NM, 18-inch Cayman wheels, Bi-Xenon main headlights, centrally positioned single tube tailpipe, SPORT button, Porsche Communication Management with mobile phone preparation and Sound Package Plus and Net-type wind deflector.
718 Cayman S: In addition, the Porsche Cayman S comes as standard with a 2.5 litre turbocharged boxer engine producing 420 NM, 19-inch Cayman S wheels, centrally positioned twin tailpipe, sport look pedals and footrest and variable turbine geometry.

Economical Sports Driving

The Porsche Cayman models’ turbocharged flat-four engines provide forceful acceleration while the 2.0 litre engine in the Porsche Cayman model provides 300hp and 380 maximum torque, going from 0-100 in an impressive 4.9 seconds, but also managed to provide an average of 34.3mpg making for a rather economical sports car. Whereas the Porsche Cayman S model can draw maximum 420 torque from it's 2.5 litre engine that swiftly hits 0-100mph in just 4.2 seconds. Porsche have integrated auto start/stop engines into the Porsche Cayman and Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) allows coasting in suitable situations. 6 speed manual transmission shifts gears with ease and there is a choice of Sport and Sport plus driving modes to provide an impressive engine sound!
