The Porsche Taycan is Porsche's first electric car offering that has been designed to provide an electrifying driving experience.
Electrifying Velocity
Undeniably Porsche the Porsche Taycan includes lateral air intakes for increased aerodynamics, signature four-point LED headlights, flush automatically extending door handles and you can choose from two roof styles: a contoured option constructed from lightweight aluminium or a fixed panoramic glass roof to add the feeling of more space. Inside the Porsche Taycan is every bit the sports car with a low and sporty seating position, multifunction sports steering wheel, innovative advanced climate control to keep your cool at all times and there is a surprising amount of storage space with a rear luggage compartment that can hold up to 407 litres and an additional 81 litres of storage in the front compartment. The innovative digital cockpit further enhances the driving experience, offering sleek and functional customisable digital display. The curved 16.8-inch driver focused instrument cluster sits behind the wheel and is accompanied by direct touch control panels to adjust lighting and chassis options. Then there is a 10.9-inch central display with online navigation and audio/communication functions. Then there is a further 8.4-inch centre console control panel that provides access to media, telephone settings and battery charging status.
Porsche Taycan Models
There are three sensational models available in the Porsche Taycan family: Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo, Taycan Turbo S.
Taycan 4S: As standard the Porsche Taycan S comes with 79.2kWh performance battery, Sport mode activation, Aluminium front and rear chassis axle, power steering, 19-inch Taycan S Aero wheels, brake calipers painted red, galvanised steel and aluminium bodyshell, auto-deploying door handles, PORSCHE logo in glass look on the rear light strip, 4-point LED daytime running lights, 8-way electric comfort heated front seats, partial leather interior, sound package plus with 10 speakers.
Taycan Turbo: The Taycan Turbo comes as standard with 20-inch Taycan Turbo Aero wheels, side window trims in silver colour, model designation on the tailgate in silver, LED matrix headlights, LED interior lighting concept, heated rear screen, 14-way electric comfort heated front and rear seats, ISOFIX mounting system, park assist, smooth leather interior finish with Taycan badge on the centre console and accent package in black and multifunction sports steering wheel in leather and BOSE surround sound system.
Taycan Turbo S: In addition the Porsche Taycan Turbo S comes with Porsche E-Performance powertrain and Porsche traction management, 21-inch Mission E Design wheels, wheels centres with full colour Porsche crest, Porsche ceramic composite brake and brake calipers in a yellow finish, upper valance with vertical air intakes, side window trims in black high-gloss, tailgate painted in high-gloss, 18-way electric adjustable adaptive sports seats with memory package and heated seats to the front and rear, two-tone leather interior, Turbo S logo on the front and rear headrests, accent package in dark silver, interior trim package in matt carbon and GT multifunction sports steering wheel in race-tex with BOSE 15 speakers surround sound system.
The Future of the Electric Sports Car
Across the Porsche Taycan family, the Taycan 4S will give you an estimated 188 miles of electric range, the Taycan Turbo can handle up to 216 miles whereas the Taycan Turbo S has a slightly shorter estimated range of 205 miles. Models can reach up to 0-62mph in as little as 4.0, 3.2 and an impressive 2.8 seconds with tops speeds of 155-162mph. There is a growing network of ultra-high power DC chargers that can charge the Taycan at 270kW for an additional 62 miles of range in 6 minutes. At home you can connect your Porsche Taycan to a Porsche mobile charge, Porsche charging dock or have a Porsche mobile charger installed at your home for easy charging in the safety of your own home. The Porsche Taycan is a revolutionary electric sports car that is set to get pulses racing.
