Audi A4 Saloon Leasing
Drive the Audi A4 and Spec for Comfort with our Leasing Options
With imposing and iconic looks that seem to be the most sort after in the market, the Audi A4 is an extremely refined mid sized saloon, perfect for the small family.
In a hugely competitive market, the Audi A4’s rivals are similarly popular. Both the Mercedes C-Class and the BMW 3 Series are equally stand out products. But Audi’s ultra-modern design, which has been imitated so frequently by less refined brands, will appeal to a young market who seek the imposing, seek aesthetics that the German manufacturer has become so closely associated with.
The A4 is everything that you would expect when it comes to how it drives. With the S-Line models, the firm suspension provides a real drivers ride, which when coupled with the petrol engines, gives you a real sense of brisk performance. Additionally, all of the petrol engines use turbo charges, meaning that even the entry level 1.4 engine is able to output 148-bhp – more than sufficient for economical motoring.
Scale up to the 249-bhp 2.0ltr engine and you’ll find all the poke you need that when harnessed with quattro performance, will provide you with an all-encompassing driving experience.
The S-Line trim comes with an adaptive suspension package boasts five suspension set-ups; Comfort Dynamic, Sport, Adaptive Sport and Adaptive S Sport. We’d recommend opting for the Comfort Dynamic Package on a factory order though. We found that this provided the best blend of performance and comfort.
The good news is that Audi really works hard on the comfort aspect. Although we’d concede that we believe the Mercedes C-Class does feel you’d be more comfortable over a longer journey, Audi have worked hard on the customisation and quality of the cabin. It starts with the seating. With some of the premium trim levels, such as the S-Line and S4, the seats really wrap around you and keep you cocooned in your driving position. The napa leather is of the highest quality we’ve seen from its competitors. It feels so soft, its almost velvet to the touch, which provides you with a real sense of prestige quality. And that sense of quality continues throughout the cabin. Cheap, rough feeling plastics are few and far between. Instead, soft materials and refined switches make up the large majority of everything around you. Couple that with the new minimalist dashboard combined with the Audi Cockpit, and it all adds up to a very exclusive, modern interior.
There’s plenty of space too. What’s most noticeable is that the low sills and wide door apertures really add space in the rear seating. The curved shape of the paneling on the rear of the seats creates further space for passengers 6 foot plus. Additionally, you’ll be equipped with a boot which is on a par with the BMW 3 Series.
Overall the Audi A4 offers a vast array of customisation. If you spend the time looking at all the options, including the suspension, you’ll have a very accomplished vehicle that looks as good as anything on the road and drives with comfort and precision.
