There are four trim levels to choose from with the Audi Q7, climbing from the baseline Sport through the S-Line, Black Edition, and the Vorsprung up front.

Sport: the Sport is kitted out with standard equipment including xenon headlights, MMI navigation, a Virtual Cockpit and rear-view camera for easy parking.

S-Line: step up to the S-Line and benefit from added features including sportier styling with bulkier bumpers and side skirting. Wheels swell to 20” alloy, and there’s privacy glass in the rear. This model keeps it cool with rear climate control, and sets a higher standard with LED headlights and sports seats. Black Edition: this evolution of the car adds to the S-Line trim with styling edits including larger alloy wheels and a panoramic glass roof, plus sport-adapted air suspension.

Vorsprung: as its bold German name suggest, der ​Vorsprung ​ - the ​Advance ​ - blazes a trail for the rest of the Q7s to follow. Equipment levels vary depending on the engine chosen, but standard kit includes 22” alloy wheels and a leather interior package that takes the levels of luxury to new heights.

Driver’s of the Q7 sit at a commanding vantage point over the road, set up high and watching through a windscreen barely obstructed by two slim pillars to either side. The drive itself is urgent and pumping with adrenaline, even with the less-powerful engines. Audi’s air suspension makes all the difference with the Q7, growing this great beast into a nimbly maneuvering leviathan. Noise from the outside is minimal, even on larger wheel sizes, and at speed the automatic gearbox disengages itself to allow for freewheel smooth driving that cuts both noise and fuel consumption.
