The new Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake combines sports styling with a practical and intelligent design for a one of a kind driving experience. A family hatchback with a futuristic design makes the Mercedes Shooting Brake a seriously stylish small estate car.
Unique Design
The new Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake looks like an A-Class from the front, but don't be fooled. From the side this lengthened out version is dynamic from the back to the bonnet with an upturned rear bumper and a roof-mounted spoiler. 19-inch wheels make their mark on the road while the Shooting Brake's unique shape provides a low aerodynamic drag. One main advantage of the Shooting Brake is its practical cabin space and boot size of 505 litres and a maximum 1,370 litres storage space with the rear seats folded. Inside mood lighting, brushed metal trims, and futuristic fully digital cockpit and digital instrument cluster display seat you in the centre of the action. While Mercedes MBUX technology provides augmented navigation video and connects your smartphone to keep you connected to the outside world. Driver and front passenger seats have a cool climate control system as standard while Burmester improved surround sound systems are fitted in Mercedes-AMG Premium Plus models.
CLA Shooting Brake Specifications
The Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake is available in four trim lines: AMG Line, AMG Line Premium, AMG Line Premium Plus, and AMG.
AMG Line: Starting as standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, lowered suspension, LED headlights, Mercedes branded brake calipers and black contrasting exterior trim. Inside there is AMG badging to the red-edged floor mats, stainless steel foot pedals, and a leather-trimmed steering wheel.
AMG Line Premium: Next in line the AMG Line Premium Shooting Brake has additional infotainment with two central 10.3-inch touchscreens and drivers digital display with keyless entry and AMG body styling with chrome trim elements.
AMG Line Premium Plus: For added technology and comfort the Mercedes Shooting Brake AMG Line Premium Plus stuns with MULTIBEAM LED headlamps with adaptive Highbeam assist Plus and a bright panoramic sunroof. Inside the front seats have driver memory with lumbar support and Traffic Sign Assist makes for effortless driving on the road.
AMG: The AMG CLA Shooting Brake is fitted with 18-inch alloy wheels, lowered sports suspension, and red exterior trim on the front and rear bumpers with red brake calipers to amp up this car's sporting edge. Inside there is a choice of 12 ambient lighting options with heated front seats, red seat belts, and a Garmin navigation system.

For every day trips the CLA 200 1.3-litre petrol engine provides up to 46 mpg fuel economy and 136hp making 0-62mph in 8.4 seconds. For motorway drivers, the 2.0-litre diesel CLA 220D reaches 0-62mph on 7.2 scones with a fuel-efficient economy of 57 mpg. Quiet to drive and easy to steer, the Mercedes Shooting Brake is poised on the road with tight body control.
