The Tesla Model 3 is a low cost, high power all-electric car with plenty of kerb appeal. Hitting 0-60 mph in a whopping 3.2 seconds the Tesla Model 3 is fast, fun, and packed with lots of tech. It's easy to see why this sporty four-door pure-electric car won the Carwow Game Changer Award in 2019.
Futuristic Design
The Tesla Model 3 is built with safety first in mind. The car is a rigid structure made from aluminium and steel with front impact protection and a very low rollover risk giving the Tesla Model 3 a 5-star safety rating for adults, children, and pedestrians alike. Safety features fitted on the Model 3 include a front-facing radar that can read objects up to 160 metres ahead. Rear, side, and forward-facing cameras to provide 360-degree visibility while 12 Ultrasonic sensors detect nearby vehicles, assist with parking, and can prevent any possible collisions before they happen.
The new Tesla Model 3 is a fully electric car that you can charge overnight at home or on the road at any Tesla charging network. A full battery charge will last up to 348 miles and it only takes a quick 30 minutes to recharge 170 miles at a Supercharger location. At present, there are more than 16,000 Superchargers placed on popular travel routes around the globe. Inside the Tesla Model 3 is just as pleasing as its futuristic exterior design. At the centre of the action, there is a large 15-inch touchscreen display and a luxurious glass roof from front to back that offers spacious headroom equipped with clever UV protection. For a sports car, there is ample storage space with 425 litres of boot space and extra storage can be found underneath the bonnet.
Tesla Model 3 Specifications
The Tesla Model 3 is available in three models: Standard Plus, Long Range, and Performance.
Standard Plus: Even for an entry-level model the Standard Plus Tesla Model 3 packs a punch. With 18 or 19-inch wheels as standard, 15-inch centre touchscreen display, 12-way power-adjustable heated front seats, premium seat material and trim, tinted glass roof, custom driver profiles, and standard battery range.
Long Range: The Tesla Model 3 Long Range trim includes a long-range battery, 18 or 19-inch wheels, upgraded audio with immersive sound, power-folding heated side mirrors, Music and media over Bluetooth and Premium Connectivity is included for 30 days.
Performance: Top of the Model 3 range is the Tesla Performance that comes as standard with 20-inch wheels and includes all of the premium interior features of the other models except this mighty all-electric car can catapult from 0-60 mph in a powerful 3.2 seconds.
Experience All-Wheel Drive
For total control, the Tesla Model 3 is available with the additional option of dual motor all-wheel drive that provides the best traction and control in all weather conditions. Combined with 20-inch performance wheels, brakes, and lowered suspension the top-spec Tesla Model 3 Performance makes for a thrilling drive with impressive acceleration speeds from 0-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds. Tesla’s innovative carbon fibre spoiler will improve the stability of the Tesla Model 3 when driving at high speeds making this electric sports car light and fast on the road. Driving is also made easier thanks to Tesla Model 3’s handy Autopilot system that lets the car do most of the work for you. Driver assistance systems will also work just as hard to automatically brake if the system detects an obstacle in the road ahead and will even perform the most difficult parking maneuvers for you hands-free. The Standard Plus Tesla Model 3 has rear-wheel drive and will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds, offering up to 254 miles of driving range off a full battery charge. The Long Range Model 3 Tesla has Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive and can accelerate 0-60 mph in an impressive 4.4 seconds, running 348 miles on a full battery charge. At the top the Tesla Model 3 Performance, also equipped with Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive, has a full battery range of 329 miles and can accelerate at a top speed of 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds, which is pretty impressive for an all-electric car, don’t you think?

There were a few hiccups along the journey of ordering and receiving the car but Vantage helped at all stages and we got there in the end with what I wanted/required!
