Mercedes Standard Specification Types

Drivers have four luxurious models to choose from: SE, Sport, AMG Line and AMG

SE: A well equipped entry level model complete with 17-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, reverse parking aid, bluetooth connection, climate control, heated front seats and automatic wipers and headlights as standard.

Sport: Adding a touch or sportiness this mid-range trim adds a myriad of exterior and interior enhancements including a suspension lowered by 15mm, 18-inch alloy wheels, twin tailpipes, leather three-spoke sport steering wheel and gear knob, heated front sport seats, Garmin navigation system and electric folding and heated door mirrors.

AMG Line: Handling 0-60mph in 5.6 seconds the Mercedes C-Class AMG Line captures the essence of Mercedes' AMG performance models in an everyday car. Equipped with sports suspension, body-hugging sports seats and an AMG bodykit. Satellite navigation, cruise control, nappa leather steering wheel and 18-inch AMG 5-spoke light-alloy wheels come as standard with this trim.

AMG: Exclusive to AMG C 63 models are 18-inch AMG 10-spoke light-alloy wheels or 5-twin-19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels on the sports model. Black nappa leather on the interior with an upgraded grey oak open-pore trim, AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension, petrol particulate filter, wheel-arch widening for AMG wheels, door sill panels with "Mercedes-Benz" illuminated lettering, G spoiler lip in vehicle colour and the driver's seat has an electrically adjustable memory function, whilst AMG performance seats can be found in the C 63 S.

How it Performs and Handles

Engine sizes start with the 154bhp 1.6-litre turbo C 180 petrol, although petrol drivers may want to consider the C 200 model with its all-new, turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder 48-volt mild hybrid setup. Standard suspension offers a comfortable ride and the new C-Class weighs around 100kg less, which helps to improve efficiency and overall driving experience.
