Only One Trim Level to Choose From

The new Mercedes GLE is only available in AMG Line models all with 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Drives can choose from a 2 litre diesel and 3 litre petrol and diesel engines.

AMG Line: Mercedes-Benz GLE AMG Line models combine sporty AMG bodystyling with 18-22inch 5-twin-spoke design alloy wheels and heat-insulating dark-tinted glass. Bodycoloured bumpers, cruise control, electric mirrors, heated seats, side airbags, roof rails and sat nav come as standard. The interior is adorned with luxury nappa leather and a multifunctional sports steering wheel. Ambient lighting in 64 colour combinations sets the mood for your drive whilst the wide screen cockpit and MBUX infotainment system add those finishing touches to the elegant and original new Mercedes GLE SUV.

Mercedes GLE Performance & Handling

New Mercedes GLE engines offer powerful and efficient acceleration. In the GLE line up you will find a four-cylinder diesel to clever hybrid six-cylinder engines, topped by a spectacular V8. If you're after a petrol engine the GLE 450 3 litre six-cylinder engine is capable of 0-62mph in 5.7 seconds. For diesel lovers the GLE 300 d 4Matic gives 245hp from its 2 litre four-cylinder engine, which produces 500 Nm of torque and a top speed of 140 mph accelerating 0-62 mph in 7.2 seconds. In particular it is worth noting that GLE AMG Line diesel engines have lower consumption figures than most luxury SUVs on the market. Comfort is a priority for the Mercedes GLE which remains composed across all road types and navigates large bumps with ease. Thankfully the Mercedes park assist pack comes as standard, including a 360 degree camera to help reverse park into those tight spaces when required.
