The Design
The BMW 3 Series Touring combines progressive design with innovative functionality. It’s modern exterior nods to the sport-loving athlete with impressive contours, a confident stance and wide wheel arches that all make a lasting impression. Thanks to BMW's forward thinking and secure storage solutions you can create as much space as you require from the 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats to the 495 litre capacity boot, which includes anti-slip rails on the luggage compartment floor. The 3 Series TouringImpressive interior features ambient lighting, three-zone air conditioning, an optional panoramic sunroof and heated M Sport seats in luxurious Vernasca leather come as standard in Sport and Sport M models. BMW Live Cockpit Professional and the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant voice control system provide a refreshing and advanced driving experience. Parking Assistant with reverse camera, BMW laserlights and Acoustic windows are just some ample features that come as standard on the BMW 3 Series Touring.
What's Included
The BMW 3 Series Touring is available in four model lines: SE, Sport, M Sport and M Sport Plus.
SE: The standard SE Model starts from a high spec including 17-inch light alloy V-spoke wheels, ambient lighting, light carpet, folding mirrors, sport leather steering wheel, 8.8 inch CID and auto tailgate.
Sport: Next up in the BMW 3 Series Touring range is the first Sport model with 18-inch light alloy V-spoke wheels, luxury sports seats in Vernasca leather, heated seats, M door sill finishers in Aluminium, tailpipe trim in black chrome and rear bumper with design elements in high-gloss black.
M Sport: The M Sport is equipped with these added extras: 18-inch M light alloy Double-spoke wheels, an enhanced 12.3-inch Digital Cockpit and 10.25-inch CID, interior trim finished in Aluminium Tetragon, M leather steering wheel, M door sill finishers and M Aerodynamics package.
M Sport Plus: The daddy of the BMW 3 Series Touring family is the M Sport Plus, which includes standout 19-inch Double Spoke Jet Black Alloy Wheels, BMW high-gloss Shadow Line with extended contents, Black Mirror Caps, Sun Protection Glass, M Sport braking system, Adaptive M Suspension, M rear spoiler, M seat belts and the option of unique BMW Individual Paintwork in Davit Grey, Tanzanite Blue or Oxide Grey.
How the Estate Handles
The BMW 3 Series Touring range includes a choice of TwinPower Turbo 4 and 6 cylinder petrol and diesel engines. From their 320d 2.0-litre diesel with 187 bhp that can reach 0-62mph in just over 7 seconds, to a 330i petrol engine with 254bhp and a slick 0-62mph in 5.9 seconds. How smooth the drive is will depend on whether you opt for standard suspension or the slightly stiffer M Sport or M Sport Adaptive suspension. Recent adjustments have dropped the cars weight by 10kg, which has helped to provide greater agility around corners, sporty handling and brilliant steering. The BMW 3 Series Touring certainly doesn't disappoint no matter what model and specification you choose to go for.
