The Soft Top Design
The BMW 4 Series Convertible is packed with perfected design elements from it’s sleek contoured sides to a stretched sporty attitude. Elegant and sporty the BMW 4 Series Convertible looks great with the hardtop roof open or closed, which can be operated at speeds up to 11mph. Fitted with BMW's iconic Kidney grille and sleek headlights the 4 Series Convertible demands attention from passers by. The boot has a decent 370-litre capacity making it functional for day to day use. Inside you will find a well equipped dashboard and easy to use infotainment system including BMW's iDrive rotary controller and standard 6.5-inch screen. Front seats are electrically adjustable for both driver and passenger with plenty of space upfront and enough room for two small adults in the back. At an additional cost you can opt for split-folding rear seats should you require a little extra space.
What Do you get with the Convertible?
The BMW 4 Series Convertible is available in two model lines: Sport and M Sport.
Sport: The Sport model includes 18-inch light Double-spoke alloy wheels, adaptive headlights and a luxurious matt aluminium exterior. Inside Dakota leather upholstery, front heated seats with front folding armrest and storage compartment, 6.5-inch infotainment system and ambient lighting can be switched from BMW’s classic orange to a cold white LED. Park Distance control to the front and rear helps with tight maneuvers.
M Sport: In addition to the Sport model the BMW 4 Series Convertible M Sport includes 18-inch M light Double-spoke alloy wheels, sleek M sport aerodynamic bodystyling, M Sport adaptive suspension, high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim with an upgraded 8.8-inch widescreen display with BMW Professional Navigation.
Does it Handle Differently?
The BMW 4 Series Convertible is available in a range of petrol and diesel engines. Starting with an entry level 420i petrol engine that smoothly reaches 0-62mph in a considerable 8.4 seconds. For more oomph on the road the 440i petrol engine can jump from 0-62 mph in an impressive 5.4 seconds. If you are looking for a more economical drive the 430d diesel and 435 xDrive will be cheaper to run. On the road the BMW 4 Series Convertible's suspension and structured body call for a smooth and comfortable drive. High performance engine options pack a punch with exhilarating power and precise handling. Whether driving in the city or out on the open road with the top down the BMW 4 Series Convertible guarantees you’ll make memories on every journey.
