The new Ford Mustang Convertible is available in 3 model lines: 2.3 EcoBoost, 2.0 V8 GT, and the 55 Edition.

2.3 EcoBoost: Key features include a unique EcoBoost grille, fender badge, and 19-inch wheel machine-finished alloy wheels. There are new magnetic mirror caps and a hood stripe pack for an authentic Mustang feel. A 2.3 EcoBoost engine with twin-scroll turbocharger and direct injection is accompanied by independent front and rear suspension. Ford SYNC3 with an 8-inch touchscreen provides entertainment and smartphone activity while there is also a heated steering wheel, rearview camera, and parking sensor with dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, keyless entry, and Isofix rear seats.

2.0 V8 GT: Stand out features include a powerful 5.0 litre V8 quad-cam 32 valve engine with induction sound tube, 19-inch black multi-spoke alloy wheels, Brembo 6-piston front brake calipers with large discs, active exhaust system, launch control and electronic line-lock for when driving on the track and GT front grille with vertical power bars.

55 Edition: The 55 Edition Mustang Convertible comes with 19-inch black 55 edition alloy wheels, GT exterior badging on the boot lid, 55 Edition black badging on the front wings, upper grille in black GT design, hoop scoop vents, quad chrome exhaust pipe, contrast colour painted roof, unique 55 edition over the top stripes, ambient lighting, SYNC 3 navigation and entertainment system and front sports seats with climate control.

Fun yet Practical

The Ford Mustang Convertible is impressive on the road, even the starting 2.3 litre turbocharged Ecoboost engine pulls an impressive 1500rpm while the 5.0 litre V8 packs a whopping 444bhp whilst providing a loud yet satisfying noise. There is also a 10-speed optional automatic gearbox with the addition of steering wheel paddles for when you do feel like taking full control.
