What are the Trim Levels?
The BMW 5 Series Touring is available in two model lines: SE and M Sport.
SE: The entry level BMW 5 Series Touring has 17-inch and 18-inch light alloy wheels depending on the chosen model, an automatic tailgate for easy access to the boot, LED headlights, front heated seats, Dakota leather upholstery, ambient interior lighting and BMW Live Cockpit professional.
M Sport: In addition to the SE model the M Sport has 18inch or 19inch M light alloy wheels, depending on which model you opt for. To the exterior iconic M Sport accents include high-gloss Shadowline exterior trim, M aerodynamic bodystyling, Anthracite headlining and M Sport brakes across certain models.
Does it Handle Any Different to the Saloon
The BMW 5 Series Touring is available in three petrol and four diesel engines starting with a 520i petrol engine with 184bhp and an acceleration of 0-62 mph in 8.2 seconds through to a top spec 540i petrol that packs 340bhp and can reach 0-62mph in under five seconds. If it is a diesel you are after the economical 520d xDrive has an engine performance of 190bhp and running at an economical 50 mpg with 0-62mph being reaching in 7.5 seconds. Up at the top the 530d diesel SE Touring has a whopping 265bhp and reaches 0-62mph in 5.8 seconds. For the full driving experience BMW’s xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system with Integral Active Steering and Drive Performance Control delivers truly outstanding handling and performance.
